Four Decades of Market Leadership
First Securities Brokerage Company K.S.C.C. ("Oula Wasata") was founded on 19 October 1985 and was among the first companies granted a license to practice brokerage operations on the Kuwait Stock Exchange — today's Boursa Kuwait.
In 2008, Global Investment House acquired 70% of the company, and in December 2019 Kamco Investment Company ("Kamco Invest") became the major shareholder with around 93% of the shares. Today, with paid-up capital of KD 12,100,000, we serve retail and institutional clients trading in Kuwait, the GCC, Egypt and the United States.
Founded with KD 100,000 paid-up capital under licence No. 350/1985 — among the first licensed brokers on the Kuwait Stock Exchange.
Global Investment House acquires 70% of the company.
Launch of electronic trading via web portal and the Oula Wasata mobile app.
Paid-up capital raised from KD 3,000,000 to KD 12,741,470 — an increase of 325%.
Kamco Invest becomes the major shareholder with around 93% of the shares.
Paid-up capital adjusted to KD 12,100,000 (121,000,000 shares).
Paid-up capital of KD 12.1 million; trading access across Kuwait, GCC, Egypt and US markets.
